Introducing some brand new talent in the form of Freeze. Once again we're leading the way in bringing through some of the freshest new talent, and big names of tomorrow - and Freeze is definitely no exception.

"Guess Who" is a real dancefloor steppa that kicks off with an infectious high pitched lead, twisting and turning throughout the build up. The drop nods to the main room Roni Size and Full Cycle sounds of yesteryear, with hypnotic bass stabs standing firm around an array of intricate fx’s and drum trickery.

"Sound Dimension" is a deep and brooding slice of forward thinking Drum and Bass which keeps things deep underground and shows a different side to Freeze, and a versatility that leaves you wanting to hear more from this new kid on the block!

Outsiders / Prophecy

Relative newcomer to the scene Harvest has been turning some heads in Drum & Bass circles with his fresh take on Jump Up D&B.

For some, this style over the past few years has lacked originality and that all important dose of funk, but we’re pleased to say that these are qualities that Harvest has in abundance, and his debut single on Cold Blooded Recordings has been lighting dancefloors all over the globe for the past few months.

On ‘Outsiders’ he keeps things minimal and funky with a track that combines old school Full Cycle vibes with crisp modern production. Infectious bassline stabs and steppy beats are the order of the day here on this solid debut from Harvest.

Prophecy’ is a dark and broody roller – jump up style. With clear influences from the early works of Mampi Swift, Harvest does some serious damage to the bass bins with rumbling sub bass and snappy crunched beats pushing things forward.

DJ support from Hype, Pascal, Bailey, Crissy Criss, AMC, Hazard and of course Crystal Clear to name but a few.

Following up the absolutely huge ‘Levels’ featuring MC Stapleton, Crystal Clear again slides effortlessly between his roles as producer and label boss at Cold Blooded.

This time he brings through fresh talent in the form of A.M.C, who moves the label into more uncharted territory as he lands with this deep and funky release.

Alex Mark Calvert aka A.M.C has been making a real name for himself behind the decks for the past few years. His residency on DNBTV, where he performs with boundless energy mixing old with new in an unmistakeable style, has found him fans around the world.

During this time he has also been perfecting his skills in the studio and if this debut on Cold Blooded is anything to go by – this is a name we’ll be hearing a lot more from.

Quite frankly we're not messing around with this one!

Mattix and Futile have come with goods yet again in the shape of 'Corkscrew' and 'Where We Are'.

'Corkscrew' has been much in demand ever since a prototype mix was debuted on the Drum & Bass Arena podcast.

Now polished up and smacking hard like a strict mistress, this has been hammered by the dnb scene's finest.

Such is its appeal that it's already received over 150,000 views on YouTube and featured as part of the massive DNB Arena Evolution compilation.

'Where We Are' on the flip sees the Brighton boys at their anthemic best with futuristic drums and bass that'll keep your speakers popping.

You'll know 'Hate the Game' from being the intro tune to sets by 1xtra's Crissy Criss and Cold Blooded CEO Crystal Clear.

The half time intro instantly draws you in with an infectious synth lead before the vocal talents of Stapleton, an MC who's already been making some big waves in 2011, help build up to the drop.

From the drop there is no turning back as this track has anthem vibes running right through it...to be ignored at your peril!

On the flipside Crystal Clear teams up with Zen for a re-working of their 2010 smash 'Gang Related'.

Keeping all of the vibe which saw the original climb to number 1 in the 1Xtra DnB Chart, this VIP remix, originally intended as a special dubplate, has been getting such a big response, that a release was essential.

Support from the likes of Pendulum, Crissy Criss, Brockie, Hype and Tantrum Desire.

Taking us sauntering into the year with a certain self confident swagger are rising stars Mattix & Futile, and let's face it, if they weren't bringing with them some quality beats then they wouldn't be on Cold Blooded!

‘Take You Back’ is a full-on new skool dancefloor banger. An upbeat housey intro paves the way for a speaker shaking drop, which combined with cheeky FX’ and an infectious vocoded vocal will be buzzing round your head for days! This has been a staple in Crystal Clear's sets as well as receiving plenty of support from the likes of Crissy Criss and Friction to name but a few.

‘Believe’ is a sublime slice of euphoric, rolling drum and bass, which would fit neatly amongst recent productions from Netsky, Danny Byrd and Furlong.

The duo already have in excess of 400,000 plays on the influential UKF YouTube channel for their debut release, and this single looks sure to follow in its footsteps.

After the huge success of his recent collaboration project 'Strength in Numbers' on DJ Hype & Pascal's Frontline imprint, Crystal Clear got straight back in the studio with Zen (Grid Recordings/Flip Audio) to see if once again the old saying 'two heads are better than one' would ring true.

With DJ's and producers including Marky, Hype, Bryan Gee, Hazard, Taxman, Subzero, Sigma and Crissy Criss all supporting these tracks on dubplate, it seems that the old mantra has some life in it still!

As solo artists Crystal Clear and Zen are both renound for combining big beats with thunderous, speaker popping bass, together their production styles have perfectly combined to produce two dancefloor smashers each with very different and unique vibes.

'Gang Related' is an infectious jump up roller, snappy beats and warm glowing bass - once heard this one will buzzing round your head for days! 'City Lights' is an all out bassline assault, the main hook twists and turns around dreamy pads that provide the calm before, during and after the storm.

So Be It / Technofear

Released by SMASH BROS

After the massive success of our first release we’re at it again!
Crystal Clear is back, and this time he’s teamed up with Cutterz Choice head honcho Rhythm Beater under the alias ‘Smash Bros’, and when you listen to their first release you’ll instantly know why!

Straying from the sound both of them are most widely known for this debut
blows away any misconceptions that this label was going to be sticking to any sound or formula.

‘So Be It’ is a rolling slice of techno influenced funk that would slide into almost any prime time set. A cool, calm intro gradually builds with a catchy old skool riff filtering through before building up to a punchy, sub shaking drop.

‘Technofear’ takes things one step further and gets darker and dirtier than the flip. This one will have the Smash Brothers smashing holes in speakers wherever it’s played! Tight drums, low end stabs and a marching step to the bass means this is one militant piece of dancefloor ammunition!

*sigh*…Our first release…and it’s a BANGER!

First up on for us is the massive club smash ‘Bangers N Mash’, a devastating slice of dance floor mayhem. Frantic strings kick off proceedings before a tight beat kicks in. Before you’ve had chance to get to the dance floor, a twisting, turning and morphing bassline ensures that you never quite know what’s gonna hit you next, keeping the track fresh in the mix and ravers moving!

‘Superfunk’ is stripped back jump up roller, bucking the trend of maximum impact drops which quickly fade away; this track is all about groove, with stepping beats and a solid sharp bass that would cut through any set. Nods to the old skool sounds of the legendary Dillinja, brought bang up to date, this track has more funk than George Clinton!

Support from the Playaz Camp, Grooverider, Brockie, Xample, Crissy Criss and Drumsound & Bassline Smith. Grab one while you still can!
